From a 2-car garage in 2003 to today’s expansive office and warehouse space, event and production gurus Tangela and Harold Cummings have steadily driven Design South Florida upward.  It is with the passion and drive of our Founders that we have become a choice vendor throughout the country. The brainchild of the husband and wife team, Design South Florida began as little more than a dream with a few speakers and a little know-how. Starting in church, the Cummings began with church concerts and weddings—using each gig to slowly acquire equipment, and lunchbreaks on their respective 9-5s to acquire knowledge.   Never sacrificing excellence, this once-small shop has grown, and is now known in celebrity music circles and among South Florida’s Who’s Who for outstanding event production.

Providing quality service, unique designs, stellar sound production and innovation to their customers, the Design South Florida team manages to balance work, life and love on their shoulders with ease. The parent company of Drummer Boy Sound, Admarde Solutions, and Admardecor Event Design; Design South Florida is a full-service event production company that is unique in their ability to offer high quality, grand-scale events with an intimate feel.  Every member of the Design South Florida Team is knowledgeable and trained in their respective areas—thus taking each event to the next level. From web and graphic designs, to clear sound quality, concert backlines and room transformations, Design South Florida takes the time to construct an experience for their clients.

In business for numerous years, Harold and Tangela are always learning, and making sure that every member of the team is aware of the latest trends in sound technology, coding, marketing and events. With particular attention to detail, Design South Florida has been personally selected to work with major recording artists.  In addition to working with music celebrities, we have also been requested to manage large events that bring tourists from all over the world to South Florida! Our Team has been selected to manage Jazz in the Gardens, Funk Fest, the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, Hispanicize, and Zo’s Winter Groove. Our Partners include Macy’s, the Miami Dolphins, the City of Miami Gardens, the Lyric Theater, and the Cities of Weston and Oakland Park.

Our carefully organized warehouse, stores all of the equipment needed to execute flawless events. Home to a wide variety of imaginative décor options, as well as floor-to-ceiling shelves of musical instruments and sound production equipment—the Design South Florida offices are a leading one-stop shop for our clients.
